They corrupt the lands in which they dwell and generally care little for the living. Plus mostly, they can backfire on u too hard, compared to assets they procure (if u’r lucky, and if allies won in situations u really needed backup, not when they got lucky to be shortly 1st to rase settlements u counted on to increase skills of your heros/lords lol),Īnd lorewise as well, it’s somewhere logical.A collection of powerful Vampires and Necromancers, who are able to wield Dhar magic to command vast legions of the Undead. (etc)Īnd frankly, I never felt the need of an ally at anytime. Strong defences on each fronts (4 full doomstack armies with 3heros each + a 5th army where I started recruitment in turn 91), 4500 profit/turn, 2nd world power behind Reikland, owning 25 settlements (7provinces owned at t5&3 upgrades + the rest not yet fully developed or where I am missing 1 of the settlements),Īnd i didn’t lost hardly so far, couple hopeless autoresolve here or there on minor settlements, but every important engagements, I won them. I am only in my 2nd try ever in campaign with Ikit claw (ME, vanilla), turn 93 (VH/VH), I never got any alliance, only NAPs and couple trades, and I truly crush the game so far ! Wich there have massive consequences on any other deals u really want, even just trade deal are hopeless for +50turns if new allies ♥♥♥♥♥♥ u up and u lose all reliability bcoz of it. Too many risks to put u in war in bad moments and make u loose all your reliability for the next 50turns minimum. Just NAPs (to neutralise momenteraly your flanks when dealing with an other enemy, knowing it will break off some 10 to 15 turns later anyway)
